Heading Delighted By Jobs Boost For Lisburn

SDLP Mayor of Lisburn Cllr Brian Heading has welcomed the news that local firm Decora Blind Systems is to create 79 new jobs.

Cllr Heading said: "I am delighted by this news from Decora.

"Their investment of £2m over the next two years, coupled with Invest NI’s £237,000 addition to the business, means a lot for the local economy.

"At a time when there is deep unemployment in the North and on a day when it was announced that the UK is entering a double-dip recession, it is fantastic that here in Lisburn, we are aiming for growth and delivering on jobs.

"I look forward to seeing Decora continue to move from strength to strength, putting Lisburn on the map not only in these islands, but further afield."
