Family escape injury in petrol bomb attack
A family has escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at their home in Co Antrim last night.
At around 11.55pm, a petrol bomb struck the rear of the family home on Drumahoe Road, in the Millbrook area of Larne. The petrol bomb, which struck close to an upper bedroom window, ignited causing scorch damage.
A man and his three children were at home at the time of the attack.
A second device was also thrown at a vacant house nearby but ignited in a flowerpot, with no damage to the house.
A number of items recovered from the scene have been taken away for forensic examination.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

PSNI Investigates Arson Attack In L'Derry
The PSNI have launched an investigation into an arson attack in L'Derry on Monday, 11 March. At around 11.30pm last night, it was reported to police that two vehicles were on fire in the Grainan Drive area. Police and NIFRS attended the scene. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Two other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the fire.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack at a property in south Belfast. At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Police attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Man Arrested After Using Van To Attack Police Officers
The PSNI has condemned an incident in which a man used a van to repeatedly ram a police patrol car and attempted to run over an officer in Newry on Saturday, 03 February. Shortly after 11:20pm, officers on patrol approached a man standing beside a white Peugeot van in the Castlekeele Estate area.

The PSNI have launched an investigation after masked men broke into a house in east Belfast while a woman was inside. The incident occurred in the Manna Grove area at around 7pm on Wednesday, 17 January. Three masked men entered the property through a smashed back door and searched the house while the woman was upstairs.
