Washington State Firms Explore Mutual Business Development Opportunities With NI Companies

Invest Northern Ireland and Bombardier Aerospace Belfast recently hosted Governor Christine Gregoire of Washington State and a delegation of Washington State companies who visited Belfast as part of their programme covering the UK and Ireland.

Fourteen Northern Ireland companies took part in business-to-business meetings with the Washington companies at Titanic Belfast aimed at identifying mutual business development opportunities.

Companies Registry, which is located in Chichester Street, Belfast, holds information on limited companies in Northern Ireland including annual accounts, assets and details of directors.

Boost For Newry As Retailers Flock To The Buttercrane
Newry's retail offering is set for a boost with the opening of Lidl and Sports Direct at the Buttercrane Shopping Centre, subject to planning. The two companies will begin trading at the site in 2020 if all goes ahead, the Newry Chamber of Commerce has announced.
