Armed Robbers Threaten Postmaster
A man working in a post office was told he would be shot if he did not do what robbers told him to.
The armed group escaped with money from the post office in Culmore, County Londonderry.
Army bomb disposal experts were called in to examine a car which police believe was hijacked and used in the robbery.
Pipe Bomb Found In South Belfast
A pipe bomb has been found during a security alert in south Belfast.
The device has been taken away for examination and police have appealed for information.
Homes were evacuated and Dunluce Avenue, off the Lisburn Road, was cordoned off yesterday evening while army bomb experts examined the scene.

Gardeners have until July 31 to enter this year's Belfast in Bloom contest.
The city council are hoping to build on last year, when hundreds of flower displays brightened the city up.
Gerard McCabe of Belfast City Council's Parks and Leisure Committee said it was important to keep Belfast looking its best in this "very exciting year", for tourists and for all those who work and live in the city.

Belfast City Hall Alert Declared Hoax
A security alert at Belfast City Hall has been declared a hoax. During the routine scanning of mail, a suspect package was discovered and army bomb experts were called to the scene at 11am. According to a statement from the council, the package was addressed to Belfast City Council and not to any individual.

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Residents Return To Homes After Security Alert In North Belfast Ends
Residents have returned to their homes following a security alert in north Belfast. A suspicious object was discovered at the junction of North Queen Street and Brougham Street on Tuesday, however it was found to be 'nothing untoward'. Army bomb experts examined the object on Tuesday evening.

Protest continues on prison roof
Four prisoners are continuing their protest on the roof of Maghaberry Prison today in protest in support of the segregation of paramilitary inmates at the Co Antrim jail. The prisoners began their protest on Thursday night and at one point unfurled a large sheet with the words 'Segregation Now'.

Firebomb intercepted en route to Belfast city centre
Two men were forced to drive a large incendiary firebomb through Belfast on Friday before it was abandoned at a security checkpoint. The workmen’s white Transit van was hi-jacked near a shop in the Grosvenor Road area of the city around 11.30am before the device was put on board.
