Man Raped In City Centre
A man was allegedly raped in south Belfast in the early hours of Wednesday.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place in the Donegall Street/ York Street area of Belfast near the University of Ulster just before 2am.
The attacker was described as being 5ft 9inches tall, with black hair. He was wearing a blue jumper and blue jeans and was carrying a navy shoulder bag.
Witnesses are asked to contact Rape Crime Unit detectives on 02890700305.
Parents' Fears After GAA Club Attacks
Repeated attacks on a GAA club in Londonderry have left parents afraid to send their children there.
Sean Dolan's GAC in Creggan was gutted in an arson attack a year and a half ago, and changing rooms have been vandalised in recent days.
The club is attempting to gather money for a pitch refurbishment so the venue can be used for the All-Ireland Fleadh next year.
Girls Getting Ready For Maiden Of The Mournes
Entrants from as far away as Russia and the USA have entered the Maiden of the Mournes pageant.
A total of 14 girls will compete for the title and £1000 prize next month in Warrenpoint.
A full programme of activities around the pageant will kick off on Sunday August 5, running until the next Sunday, August 12.

Student raped at south Belfast golf club
Police are investigating the rape of a 19-year-old teenager in a south Belfast golf club in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The female student had just left an event at the Kings Hall when she was confronted by a lone male who attacked her, police said.

Man And Woman Shot In West Belfast
A man and woman, aged in their 50s, have been shot in the legs in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Norglen Parade shortly after 6.15pm on Thursday, 12 January. The victims, understood to be husband and wife, were taken to hospital to be treated, however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

'Malicious' fires in west Belfast
Police in west Belfast are investigating two suspected arson attacks within the last 24-hours. The first incident was reported at around 9pm yesterday evening, when emergency services were alerted to a blaze at a house in the Gartree Place area of Andersonstown. No one was in the property at the time.
