Craigan to keep Northern Ireland place

Partick Thistle defender Stephen Craigan is set to keep his place in the heart of the Northern Ireland defence for Wednesday night's Euro 2004 qualifier against Greece at Windsor Park.

Craigan's selection will come as a surprise by some who feel he was at fault for the goal that ensured Northern Ireland where beaten 1-0 by Armenia on Saturday.

George McCartney, who missed the game because of his fear of flying, is now expected to come in ahead of Wimbledon's Mark Williams at centre-half.
