Five New Members Appointed To The Board Of The HSE NI

Enterprise Minister, Arlene Foster MLA, has announced five new appointments to the Board of the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland.

Joining the Board will be new members, Mr William Graham, Mr John Kane, Mr Maynard Mawhinney, Mrs Hilary Singleton and Dr Mark Wilkinson.

Commenting on the appointments, the Minister said: "The five new members bring with them a range of skills and experience which will assist the Board taking forward the work of HSENI and in meeting its objectives over the next three years. I wish the new members well in their appointments and I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of the outgoing members and the continuing commitment of the current Chairman, Mr George Lucas, and the remaining Board members."

The new members have been appointed for three years with effect from 1 October 2012. Members currently receive £3,700 each per annum.

Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has announced the appointment of a new Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson to the Board of the Consumer Council for Northern Ireland. Sheila McClelland has been appointed as Chairperson and Judena Goldring as Deputy Chairperson.
