Bomb alerts disrupt travel
Northern Ireland's two major airports were involved in separate bomb alerts this morning.
A terminal at Belfast City Airport was evacuated following a bomb warning. As a result, the Sydenham bypass was closed in both directions.
Earlier in the morning, Belfast International Airport was evacuated for a short while following a telephoned bomb warning. The incident was later declared a hoax.
Other hoaxes caused major disruptions and the M2 was closed for a time.
