Dublin Firm To Create Over 100 Jobs

Labour Deputy Kevin Humphreys has welcomed news that a Dublin start-up company, Swrve, has secured a $6.25m US investment, and is planning to create over 100 jobs over the next two years.

He said: "This is fantastic news for the city and further strengthens Dublin's reputation as an international technological hub. While it is always fantastic to see global players like Google and Facebook here- it is incredible to see a home grown success take up residency near Ireland's 'Silicon Docks'.

"The technology sector forms a crucial part of the Government's Action Plan for Jobs, and partly relies on talented entrepreneurs pioneering new technology. It is to the founders of Swrve, Hugh Reynolds and Dr Steve Collins's credit, that their innovative mobile app optimisation platform, has secured this huge investment by Atlantic Bridge Partners and Intel Capital.

"I understand that many of the 200 jobs to be created will be in R&D, and that there are further plans for the company to expand its mobile app analytics and testing platform into other mobile gaming markets. I will continue to work with colleagues Ministers Richard Bruton and Sean Sherlock to ensure that further support can be offered to start up companies like Swrve, so that we can ensure even more success stories like theirs. I would like to wish Swrve continued success for the future."
