Two men have been fined at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court for planning offences.
Coleraine man Hugh Patrick Henry was fined £200 plus £105 legal and court costs.
Mr Henry of Craigmore Road, Ringsend, Coleraine pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a Breach of Condition Enforcement Notice which required visibility splays to be implemented for a dwelling house.
The offence was the second committed by Mr Henry in failing to comply with the Breach of Condition Enforcement Notice.
His initial court appearance in May 2010 had resulted in a fine of £200 plus £104 costs.
In a separate planning offence, Brian Hughes of Garden Street, Magherafelt was fined £250 plus £75 court costs and £20 summons costs.
He was charged at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on four counts of displaying unauthorised signage on land south west of 87 Moyarget Road, Ballycastle.
DOE Planning brought about the charges on the basis that it is an offence to display an advertisement without consent.
