Full Circle Secure Business In India

Full Circle, the Belfast-based management consultancy, has secured its first business in India following its participation on Invest Northern Ireland trade missions.

Full Circle, which employs 16 people, offers a range of market research, sales, strategy planning and development services to a range of global customers. The new contract will see Full Circle work with a major precision engineering company in Mumbai to help it develop business in the UK and other parts of Europe.

The customer is a specialist in components for the automotive and oil and gas industries. Full Circle will identify potential joint venture partners as part of its commitment to global expansion over the next few years. The agreement could also offer opportunities for other Northern Ireland companies.

The contract was announced by Simon Devlin, Full Circle’s Managing Director, and welcomed by Dr Vicky Kell, Invest NI Trade Director, during a visit to the company’s offices at Beechill Business Park in east Belfast.

Dr Kell said: "This extremely good news for Full Circle and shows how a smaller company in professional services can compete and achieve success in export markets when top management is prepared to deploy the resources and effort required.

"This ambitious company has used Invest NI's trade support strategically to identify and exploit opportunities in growing markets, especially India, Sri Lanka, the Baltics and Eastern Europe, as well as grow its business and create additional employment opportunities in Northern Ireland.

"The company has engaged positively with us in its target markets and has also been prepared to use Invest NI's trade mission programme to explore the potential of new regions. As a result of this open-minded approach to international business, Full Circle has recognised that it has the expertise, skills, integrity and professionalism that businesses abroad value. The company has also worked closely with Invest NI’s team in Mumbai."

Mr Devlin, commenting on the company’s first business in India, said: "This is a really exciting development for us. We established a partnership with Continex, a management consultancy practice based in Chennai in Southern India, following an Invest NI trade mission to India and Sri Lanka in early 2011.

"We've been working closely with the Continex team to see how we could add value to their consultancy work with major companies throughout India, especially those aiming to expand into Europe. We met with senior management of this particular client of Continex in Mumbai in October 2012 and we are delighted to have converted this into new business already."
