Willie Frazer Granted Bail

Willie Frazer has been granted bail at Belfast High Court today.

The loyalist campaigner and Ulster People's Forum member faces six charges in relation to the union flag protest at Belfast City Hall.

He has been in Maghaberry Prision since his arrest earlier this month.

Frazer, 53, appeared via video link from the prison.

He accepted his bail conditions which include, living at his home in Markethill and make no public speeches or social media comment over the flag dispute.

Mr Justice Reg Weir granted Frazer bail of £500 and two sureties of £900 each.

He is also not allowed within 1.6kms of any protest, demonstration or process and must report to the police once a week.

His charges include taking part in an unnoticed public procession, possessing a stun gun and obstructing traffic.

At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.
