Man robbed outside Belfast bank
Police are appealing for information after a substantial sum of money was stolen from outside a bank in University Street, Belfast yesterday.
The incident happened at around lunchtime when a man got out of a black Volvo car and approached another man who was about to make a lodgement at the bank.
The man then grabbed the bag of cash and got back into the waiting Volvo car, which sped off citywards in the direction of Sandy Row.
The thief is thought to be around 6ft tall, well built with sandy coloured neatly cut hair. He was wearing a fawn round neck sweater and jeans.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder

Newry pensioner targeted by robbers
Police in Newry have appealed for information following the robbery of a pensioner last night. Three men forced their way into the elderly woman's home in the Patrick Street area of the city at around 7pm. The robbers ransacked rooms before making off with an undisclosed sum of money. The woman has been left badly shaken by her ordeal.

Second man charged over Northern Bank raid
A second man has appeared in court today charged with offences in connection with the £26 million Northern Bank robbery last December. Martin McAliskey, 42, denied charges of perverting the course of justice, in relation to possession of a Ford Transit vehicle. He was granted bail.

Two Dead In Co Antrim Collisions
Two people have died in hospital after separate road traffic collisions in Co Antrim. An 88 year-old man named as Daniel Louden from Ballymoney was injured in a one-vehicle crash on the Frosses Road, Ballymoney at around 8am on Friday 08 November. He died in hospital on Saturday night.
