Conference On Workplace Innovation To Take Place In Dublin
A conference on Workplace Innovation - 'Translating Policy into Practice' - will take place in the Green Isle Hotel, Dublin on the Tuesday, 30th April, and Wednesday, 1st May 2013.
The conference is jointly organised by the SIPTU Manufacturing Division and the Ideas Institute.
The speakers at the conference will include the Minister for Research and Innovation, Sean Sherlock, SIPTU General President, Jack O'Connor, CEO Forfas, Martin Shanahan, IBEC Director HR and IR Services, IBEC, Brendan McGinty and director of the European Workplace Innovation Network, Professor Peter Totterdill.
Also attending will be representatives of trade unions and employers from the manufacturing sector and from the Eurofound Research Institute.
Workplace Innovation aims to improve organisational performance and working lives and to stimulate positive change through inclusive dialogue and by releasing the creativity of employees.
The conference is intended to develop an awareness campaign into the benefits of Workplace Innovation for trade unions and employers from both an Irish and an EU perspective.
