Cash Van Robbed By Men With Iron Bar
A cash delivery van has been robbed by four men armed with an iron bar in Crumlin, Co Antrim, the BBC have reported.
It is understood that the men escaped with a cash box in a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra car on Sunday afternoon. A blue Vauxhall Vectra was found a short time later.
The security guard was shaken by not injured in the robbery.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Industry urges NI to ‘play safe’ with cash cards
Cash machine users were today advised to keep playing safe when making cash withdrawals, despite fraudulent cash withdrawals in Northern Ireland falling by 8% to £368,000 over the past year. However, despite a fall in Northern Ireland figures the rest of the UK saw an average rise of 85% in fraudulent cash withdrawals over the same period.

Bank robbers hold family hostage overnight
Police have appealed for information after masked robbers held a family hostage in their Co Tyrone home overnight. Two masked men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, held a man, a woman, and three children - aged between one and nine – hostage in their home at Hillview Park, Castlederg.

A Metro bus driver has been robbed after three masked men boarded the bus armed with a screwdriver in the Monkstown estate, at approximately 19.00 on Tuesday. The gang demanded cash before making off to a woodland close by.

Two men arrested in connection with McCartney murder
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Belfast man Robert McCartney earlier this year. The men are also being question by police about the attempted murder of Mr McCartney's friend, Brendan Devine, and the circumstances surrounding the incident which took place on January 30.
