DisplayNote Technologies Secures Export Business Worth Over £1.5m

Alastair Hamilton, Invest Northern Ireland Chief Executive, has announced that DisplayNote Technologies, the Belfast-based software developer, has secured export business worth over £1.5 million from global markets in just over a year.

DisplayNote Technologies has developed highly innovative software which enables collaboration and content sharing between a presenter and participants using tablet computers and smartphones.

Invest NI has provided a range of support to the company including R&D support to develop its software, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, support towards the set up of the business and assistance to take part in major international exhibitions.

Mr Hamilton welcomed the company's success, which includes contracts with high profile clients, such as NEC in Japan, said: "Securing significant business with international manufacturers in little over a year of being in business is immensely encouraging and demonstrates the innovation underpinning DisplayNote’s impressive technology. Their strategic focus, determination and exploitation of their unique selling points have also been an important part of the success.

"We are working closely with the company to support R&D activities and support marketing activities in target areas such as the US, Japan and Europe, including attendance at international events such as the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

"Their success also demonstrates the value of investment in R&D which has ensured that DisplayNote has the most advanced software to meet customer needs."
