Translink Confirm Reduced Rail Service For Monday

Translink is to provide a reduced train service on Monday following a planned strike by railway staff.

On Thursday, union GMB said more than 150 staff will take part in the strike action in an ongoing dispute with Translink over pay and their terms and conditions.

As a result, members of GMB voted for a 24-hour stoppage for Monday 24 June, which will begin at midnight.

Translink has said Monday's train service will be reduced to an hourly service at peak times, while a Sunday service will be in place for off-peak travel times.

A full timetable of the affected services is due to be published later. Bus and coach services will not be affected by the strike.
