Fivemiletown Security Facility Expands
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has opened a new security monitoring facility in Fivemiletown.
Invest NI has offered a total of £85,600 over the last 18 months to help establish BSecure Monitoring Solutions and increase employment.
The business has grown to over 28 staff.
Throughout the past year, the McElwaine family, which owns the business, has overseen the expansion of services into a purpose built facility.
Arlene Foster said: "The McElwaine family has been in business for over 40 years, and it gives me great confidence to hear of an established local company that is continuing to grow and innovate.
"For Northern Ireland to prosper, we need to ensure that businesses are supported, new markets are explored and that companies are encouraged to compete across Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and further afield - just as BSecure Monitoring Solutions are striving to do.
"It is very encouraging to see that, despite difficult economic conditions, entrepreneurs like Jason McElwaine are committing the necessary time and energy to expand their businesses."
