Police Investigate Sudden Death Of Kevin Doherty

Police are investigating the sudden death of a man in west Belfast.

Kevin Doherty, 30, who is understood to have been at a party in the Divis area, died on Tuesday.

Detectives are waiting on the results of toxicology tests.

Two other men, who are also believed to have been at the party, were also treated in hospital.

It is not yet known whether drugs or alcohol were linked to his death.

Pipe-Bomb Explosion Sparks West Belfast Alert
An exploded pipe-bomb in west Belfast was the cause of a security operation on Thursday evening, police have confirmed. The householder of a property in Norglen Parade discovered the device on Tuesday morning, 05 November. It's believed to have exploded at around 10.30pm the previous night.

A young girl has suffered injuries after she was struck by a passing vehicle that failed to stop in Co Down. Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision on Market Street, Downpatrick at around 5.30pm on Thursday 07 November.

Missing Belfast Man Has Been Found- Police
Police have confirmed that missing Belfast man Ken Gibson has been found. Officers launched an appeal for the 54 year-old who had been missing since Tuesday, 05 November. It was confirmed early on Wednesday afternoon that he had been located. Police thanked the public for their help.
