New NIO Minister Appointed
Andrew Robathan has replaced Mike Penning as Minister of State at the Northern Ireland Office (NIO).
The move was revealed today in a series of ministerial announcements made by No. 10, which also saw Scottish Secretary Michael Moore replaced by Lib Dem chief whip Alistair Carmichael.
Andrew Robathan was previously the Minister of State for the Armed Forces, a position to which he was appointed in September 2012.
He is the Conservative MP for south Leicestershire and was previously Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans.
He served around the world in the Coldstream Guards from 1974 to 1989, before working for BP from 1991 to 1992.
He volunteered to rejoin the army in 1991 and served as Chief of Staff of the Prisoner of War Guard Force in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait.
Mr Robathan has been an MP since 1992.

Police in Ireland have issued an appeal for help in identifying a man found dead In Bracetown, County Meath, on 18th April 1991. The man is believed to have been between 45 and 55 years of age, approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height with a medium build. He had light brown hair receding on the forehead and grey on the sides, and brown eyes.

Policeman cleared of 1991 shooting death
A police officer has today been cleared of having any involvement in the death of a teenage girl 15-years ago. Alice McLoughlin, 16, from Portadown, County Armagh, died after being shot in the head by a bullet fired while she travelled in an off-duty policeman's car in July 1991.

Politicians Help 'Kick Hate Into Touch'
An innovative campaign, the 'Unite Against Hate' sporting weekend has been launched. Stormont First Minister Peter Robinson and his Junior Minister Gerry Kelly (pictured) joined forces to support the campaign which highlights all forms of hate crime and challenges people here to unite to stop it.

Plaque to be erected in honour of councillors
Magherafelt District Council have voted to erect a plaque to honour two murdered Sinn Fein Councillors. Councillors John Davey and Bernard O'Hagan were shot dead during two separate incidents involving loyalist paramilitaries in 1989 and 1991. Sinn Fein Councillor and Magherafelt Chairman, Sean Kerr today spoke on behalf of his party colleagues.
