Co Fermanagh Businessman Jailed For Fraud
A Co Fermanagh businesses has pleaded guilty to defrauding 17 people of £480,000.
45-year-old Eric Boyd, of Crievehill Road, Fivemiletown, was sentenced to two in prison and two on licence.
According to reports the court heard that Mr Boyd had begun to defraud clients when his previously successful business suffered in the economic downturn.

Ministers Call On C4 To Invest More In Regional Screen Industries

Non-Emergency Police Reports To Require Email Address
The PSNI has announced that from Wednesday, 01 May, anyone reporting a non-emergency incident will be asked to provide an email address. Currently there is a system in place where automated email responses are provided in all online reports made to the PSNI.

Appeal Following Theft Of Quad Bikes And Trailer In Magherafelt
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the theft of three quad bikes and a quad trailer in the Magherafelt area last week. On Tuesday 5th March police received reports that a Dark Green Suzuki King 750CC Quad and a Red 2022 4x4 quad had been taken from two neighbouring properties in the Quilly Road area of Moneymore.

Homes Evacuated In Co Tyrone And Co Down
Homes have been evacuated in two separate security alerts in County Tyrone and County Down today, 19 January. In the first security alert, a suspicious object was found at at a house on the Gortgonis Road in Coalisland. A number of nearby houses have been evacuated and the public asked to avoid the area at this time.

Sir Jeffrey Donaldson And Wife Appear In Court
Former DUP Leader, Sir Jeffrey Donaldson and his wife, Lady Eleanor Donaldson, have appeared before Newry Magistrates Court charged with a number of historical sex offences. Donaldson, 61, is facing a total of 11 charges, including one charge of rape, one of gross indecency involving a child and nine charges of indecent assault.
