Derry City Manager Leaves Club

Declan Devine has left Derry City.

It is understood that the decision to leave was reached between the club and 40-year-old Divine by "mutual consent".

Devine had been appointed in January 2012.

He led the club to last year's FAI Cup but after a strong start to this season, Derry have struggled in recent months and his departure from the Brandywell is not a major surprise.

L'Derry PPS Building Evacuated

The Public Prosecution Service building on the Limavady Road in Londonderry has been evacuated in a security alert.

Army bomb disposal experts have been sent to the scene.

Police have said there are no further details at this stage.

Tourists Airlifted To Safety From North Coast

Two American tourists have been airlifted from a boulder field at Fair Head, Co Antrim, at around 04:20.

The two men, who are said to be in their early 20s, had been missing for over 12 hours and are understood to have suffered mild exposure and minor cuts and bruises.

The alarm was raised after they failed to return to their accommodation.

BCC Welcomes Conviction Of Belfast Man For Dog Attack
Belfast City Council (BCC) has welcomed the conviction of a man at Belfast Magistrates Court for an offence involving a dog attack on a woman. BCC brought the prosecution against 43-year-old Stuart Grace, of Forthriver Crescent, Belfast, following a report that Mr Grace’s German Shepherd dog had attacked a woman, injuring her arm and back.
