Disabled pensioner robbed in Co Down
A 96-year-old disabled woman has suffered an arm injury after being robbed at knife point at her Co Down home on Sunday.
The woman, who lives alone, was asleep when two men broke into her home near the Clonallon Road.
They woke the victim before demanding money and threatening to shoot her.
She was then dragged from her bed with a knife to her throat.
The men ransacked the house before making off with three watches and a small amount of cash.
The woman was visibly shaken when her son went to see her later on Sunday. The police were informed of the incident shortly afterwards.

Woman Arrested After Fatal Omagh Stabbing
A 36-year-old woman has been arrested following a fatal stabbing in Omagh this morning. The incident happened at a house in the Hospital Road area of the town. A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

A number of masked men threatened a woman with a knife during a burglary in north Belfast. The incident happened at a flat in the Thorndale Avenue area at around 8pm on Tuesday, 06 December. A number of masked men threatened the woman before leaving the property. The female resident, aged in her 20s, was not injured.
