Lurgan Security Alert A 'Hoax'
A security alert in Lurgan, Co Armagh, has been called off after a suspicious object was declared a hoax by police.
Police and army bomb experts attended the scene at New Line Recycling Centre on Tandragee Road on Friday morning.
An alert was placed within the Craigavon Borough Council premises, which was then ended at around 13:00.
A suspicious object was found and examined. Bomb experts declared it to be a hoax and it was taken away for further examination.
The recycling centre remained closed while the operation was ongoing.
Roads in the surrounding area were also closed but have now reopened.

North Belfast Device 'Elaborate Hoax'
Homes were evacuated in north Belfast on Sunday following the discovery of suspicious object. Stanhope Street was closed as Army bomb experts examined the device, it was later declared an "elaborate hoax". The alert lasted for several hours, but residents were eventually allowed to the return to their homes, and the street was opened to traffic.

A security alert in L'Derry has now ended after it was declared an elaborate hoax. A suspicious object was discovered on the Fairview Road in the Galliagh area on Monday, 02 November. Army bomb experts attended the scene and examined the object. It follows an earlier security alert near St Columb's College.

Viable Device Found In Co Tyrone
A viable device has been found following a security alert near Strabane, County Tyrone. A device was found on Ballyheather Road on Tuesday. The road has now been re-opened between the junctions of the Lisdivin Road and Clogher Road. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene.

PSNI Conduct Strabane Road Safety Operation
The PSNI have conducted a proactive road safety operation in Strabane on Wednesday, 20 March, conducting vehicle check points and speed checks. Officers conducted high visibility checkpoints and patrols in areas including Sion Mills, Artigarvan, Lifford Bridge and Newtownstewart bypass.
