60 New Jobs Announced At 'Creative Gardens'

Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster today visited Galgorm Castle for a sneak peek at Ballymena's newest garden centre.

'Creative Gardens', due to officially open on February 14, will employ 60 full and part time staff.

Arlene Foster said: "I have been hugely impressed by what I have seen here today at Galgorm Castle and it is clear from the vast array of plants and flowers on display that a lot of work is going into getting the new facility ready to open its doors to the public.

"The garden centre and cafe are set within the beautiful grounds of the estate and I have no doubt that it will prove to be an attractive destination for visitors from the Ballymena area and further afield.

"As well as adding to the tourism offering, the garden centre is providing 60 new jobs, which is great news for the borough."
