L'Derry Rioters 'As Young As Ten'
Children as young as ten have been involved in recent disturbances near the Fountain Estate in L'Derry, according to a senior police officer.
Petrol bombs, paint bombs and bricks were thrown towards the estate on Sunday and Monday night.
Two youths aged 13 and 14 have been arrested as a result of the disturbance.
Social services have been informed.
Man Jailed For £200 Benefit Fraud
A man has been sentenced to two months in prison for claiming £200 in benefits he was not entitled to.
22-year-old Andrew Roland of Princeton Avenue, Lurgan was given a two month prison sentence for wrongful encashment of Jobseekers Allowance totalling £200.
He will also have to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
Appeal Over Connswater Robbery
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was robbed in the street in east Belfast on Wednesday night.
Just after 19:00, the 57-year-old was walking beside the Connswater, close to the rear of Holywood Arches, when he was approached by three men, one carrying a suspected firearm.
The gang threatened and assaulted the man before making off with a sum of cash. The man was not seriously injured but was left shaken by the incident.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact Detectives at Musgrave Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
The independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Shooting Reported In N Belfast
Detectives in north Belfast are appealing for information after a report of a shooting incident near residential premises at the Spamount Street area in north Belfast.
It is thought two shots were fired at a car parked in the area at around 21:30. Strike marks were recorded and no one is believed to have been injured during the incident.
Police have asked anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has any information to contact Detectives at North Belfast on 0845 600 8000.

Ballycastle School Closed Following Asbestos Find
A school in Ballycastle, Co Antrim, has been forced to close for the remainder of the academic year after "minor particles" of asbestos were identified in the building, according to the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools (CCMS). Cross and Passion College informed parents on Tuesday that the school would remain closed until further notice.

Operation to raise Greenhill underway
The operation to raise the sunken Greenhill fishing trawler from the seabed close to Ardglass began today. The vessel went down in January this year, after hitting rocks close to Ardglass in County Down.

A Belfast man has received a ban from keeping animals for 15 years after he was convicted of four animal welfare offences. Harry Todd, from Joanmount Park in the north of the city, was sentenced to five months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months on each count at Belfast Magistrates Court on Tuesday 18 June.

A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.
