Dickson Welcomes Ryobi Jobs Announcement
Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson has welcomed the announcement by car parts company Ryobi, that they will be investing £32million in their Carrickfergus site which will create 100 jobs.
Mr Dickson MLA said: "This is excellent news for Carrickfergus and the wider economy.
"This follows similar job announcements and major contracts by businesses in East Antrim such as Caterpillar and Terumo. It is great to see the local economy performing so well and I look forward to more positive news for companies in East Antrim."

220 Jobs To Be Axed At Potash Mine In Boulby
220 jobs are to be axed at the potash mine in Boulby, near Middlesbrough, Unite the union which has about 800 members at the UK's deepest mine, said this was more disastrous news for the regional economy, following hard on the heels of the announcement by SSI Redcar that it was to axe about 2,200 jobs at Redcar.

Caterpillar To Axe 35 Jobs In NI
Caterpillar, a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, has announced it is to axe 35 jobs at its facility in Northern Ireland. The posts that will be cut include both permanent and agency staff. Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson, said the news is "very disappointing".
