Man Charged Over Stabbing

He has been charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and having an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The charges come after another man, also believed to be in his 20s, was stabbed in the chest at Glenbryn Park, in the north of the city early on Sunday morning.

He was taken to hospital for his injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.

The accused is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday.
