Appeal Over Bangor Shooting

Detectives investigating a double shooting in Bangor on Monday 10 February are making an appeal for witnesses.

Two men aged 24 and 33 were shot in their car in the Eastway area of the Whitehill estate at around 12:45.

One of the men received a gunshot wound to his leg and the second sustained gunshot wounds to his chest. Both received hospital treatment.

Detectives have said they would like to speak to anyone who noticed any suspicious people or vehicles in the Whitehill estate on Sunday night and into the early hours of Monday morning.

Police are keen to speak to any motorcyclists, dog walkers or anyone else who may have been in the Eastway or Valentines Park areas between midnight and 1am.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.

Four Men Sentenced Over Co Antrim ATM Thefts
Four men have been sentenced in connection with a series of ATM thefts in the County Antrim area over four years ago. The investigation related to a number of ATM thefts between 27th October 2018 and 6th December 2019, including the theft of two cash machines at a supermarket on Castle Way in Antrim.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.
