HMV To Open New Store In Dublin

HMV has announced that it will create 35 new posts in Dublin.

The firm is to open a new store on Grafton street in the former Awear premises, however an opening date has not been yet been set.

Hilco Capital, the firm who bought HMV from the receiver in January, announced the news.

400 New Jobs Announced At New Dublin Airport Hotel
Up to 400 new jobs are to be created following the announcement of a new terminal-linked four star hotel at Dublin Airport. Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) have revealed some 150 jobs are to be created during the construction of the new hotel, which will be built adjacent to Terminal 2.

Belfast-based Purepipe is investing £250,000 and creating six new jobs as part of plans to boost sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.

Cyber Security Firm Create 150 New Jobs
Up to 150 new jobs are to be created by Irish Cyber Security firm, Integrity360, at its Sandyford headquarters in Dublin. A total of 50 new positions will be recruited and completed with the support of Enterprise Ireland by the end of this year.

Dublin Wins 200 Jobs From Betfair
An online sports betting firm has announced it will be creating 100 jobs at a new Dublin office. Betfair said it is to open a new data-centre and relocate some of its customer operations teams to Ireland early next year. The company has already commenced a recruitment process to fill the posts.

New Tyrone Firm Announces 38 New Jobs
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster today announced that a new County Tyrone company is to create 38 jobs with support from Invest Northern Ireland's Jobs Fund. Blackrock Manufacturing Ltd has been set up in Coalisland by Pat O’Neill, founder of Powerscreen.
