100 New Jobs For Dublin

Labour TD and member of the Oireachtas Communications Committee Sean Kenny has welcomed the announcement that Yelp, an online directory company, is to create over 100 new jobs at its European HQ in Dublin.

Mr Kenny said: "This is yet another example of the digital industry expanding in Ireland and in Dublin which has a very strong grouping of global technology companies, which are attracted by our workforce and by the companies already here. Ireland is also an attractive destination for companies like Yelp, because we have a diverse population that is well educated, proficient in a number of European languages and tech savvy.

"As part of Ireland's recovery plan, Ireland needs to attract high quality international companies like Yelp. It can achieve this by making the economic environment stable and robust, and one way of doing this is through the Government's Action Plan for Jobs. Recruitment is underway immediately and all job listings can be found on Yelp’s career page: www.yelp.com/careers."
