Two hundred new jobs are to be created in Dublin following the announcement that Workday, a cloud applications company, is to double the size of its operations in the city.

The California-based company opened its European headquarters in Dublin in 2008, currently employing 200 people locally, and almost 3,000 worldwide.

The announcement of an additional 200 jobs at the firm brings the total announced by Enda Kenny during his trip to San Francisco and Silicon Valley, to 400.
