Belfast Author's 'Missing' Son Found
Matthew Bateman, the son of local author Colin Bateman, has been found after going missing in the Belfast area.
The 18-year-old from Bangor went missing last week. He had last been seen on Friday in the Botanic Gardens area in the south of the city. His father issued an appeal for information on social media on Wednesday.
Police said Matthew Bateman was located in the Malone Road area of south Belfast on Thursday.
There are no further details available at present.

A man has been reported missing in the Belfast area by his family, who police say are concerned for his welfare. 18-year-old Matthew Bateman was last seen on Friday in the Botanic Gardens area in the south of the city. Mr Bateman is originally from the Bangor, County Down area.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.
