Boy In Hospital After Road Accident
A six-year-old boy is in hospital after being hit by a car in Newtownabbey, County Antrim, police have said.
The child was hit by a vehicle on Carnmoney Road on Tuesday afternoon. The road was closed for a while, but has since reopened.
A 12-year-old girl has also been knocked down on the Foyle Road in L'Derry.
The girl's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Appeal Over Missing Belfast Woman
Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing Belfast woman.
22-year-old Julia Stokes was last seen on Sunday night at about 10:30 at the Welcome Organisation in the city.
Julia is described as 5ft 4in, of medium build, with green eyes and brown, shoulder-length hair.
Investigating officers are appealing for Julia, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A woman has been convicted at L'Derry Crown Court for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.
31-year-old Natascha Houston of Stephens Court, L'Derry, claimed Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £19,939 while failing to declare employment. She was given a nine-month prison sentence suspended for two years.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
Portadown Vehicle Operator Fined
A Co Armagh commercial goods vehicle operator has been fined £1,600 at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court.
The charges related to an Investigation by the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) into Hughes Transport (Portadown) Ltd, 83 Coharra Road, Portadown.
The company was fined £1,300 on three charges relating to having no valid Operator’s Licence and a further £300 in respect of one charge of failing to ensure the return of tachograph (speedometer) records sheets from a driver.
The Court also ordered Hughes Transport (Portadown) Ltd to pay an offender levy of £15 and court costs of £40.

Two To Appear In Court Following £400,000 Cannabis Seizure
A man and woman are to appear in court after £400,000 worth of cannabis was seized on the M2 and in Newtownards. £200,000 drugs were found after police stopped and searched a car on the M2. Searches also took place in the Shore Road area of Belfast and in Newtownards as part of the investigation.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.
