Two Firms Create Over 400 New Jobs

Three hundred and sixty new full time jobs are to be created by motorway services Applegreen, with the opening of six new stations.

An additional 250 jobs will also be created during the construction of the new motorway forecourts, which will be in Wicklow, Birdhill in Co Tipperary, Swords in Co Dublin, and Lemybrien, Co Waterford.

Work has already begun on the Wicklow services, which can be found at Junction 14 of the M11.

80 new jobs are to be created in Waterford by Healthier Smoker, the electronic cigarette manufacturer.

The company has announced that it will establish a new manufacturing facility at Six Cross Road, Waterford.

Half the positions will be in manufacturing, with the other have in retail and distribution.

Recruitment for the posts is underway.

Law Firm To Create 100 New Jobs

IT Firm Creates 100 New Jobs
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, TD, today announced that Mandiant, a specialist provider of IT security solutions is to establish an engineering and security operations centre in Dublin with the creation of 100 new jobs.

Combilift To Create 100 New Jobs
Irish Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheal Martin officially opened the new 10 million euro headquarters of Irish company Combilift in Monaghan town, which will create 100 new jobs over the next three years bringing total staff numbers to 250.

Subway To Create 1,800 New Jobs In Ireland
Labour TD Kevin Humphreys has welcomed the news that the Subway fast food chain are to create 1,800 new jobs in Ireland over the next six years. Mr Humphreys said: "This is excellent news for the Irish economy and signals the growing confidence in our domestic business environment.
