Man Shot In North Belfast

A man is being treated in hospital following a shooting incident in north Belfast.

Police have reported that a 20-year-old man was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting at about 01:00 on Monday morning at Havana Walk in Ardoyne.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

An investigation into the shooting is underway.

Abducted Man Shot In Ardoyne
A 23-year-old man was shot last night after being abducted on Ardoyne Avenue, in north Belfast, writes Carla Liébana. Police said he was bundled into a small red van by two men wearing balaclavas. He was then driven to an entry off Highbury Gardens, where he was shot once in his right leg. His attackers then made off along Berwick Road.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Shot In Leg In North Belfast
A man has been shot in the leg in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Butler Walk area at around 10pm on Tuesday. The victim went to answer a knock at the door and before opening it he heard a loud bang and realised he had been shot in the leg. He received hospital treatment, however his injuries are not believed to be lift threatening.
