Anglers Rescued After Boat Sinks

The RNLI lifeboat has rescued two anglers whose boat sank at the mouth of Ardglass harbour in Co Down.

It is understood that the boat hit rocks close to Phennick Point at about 12:45 on Monday.

The two fishermen managed to climb to safety onto some rocks before the boat sank.

The lifeboat then rescued the men from the rocks. No one was injured in the incident.
