Inquests into Dublin bombings re-open
Relatives of those killed in the Dublin bombings of 1972/73 have marched on Dublin's Coroner Court today for a resumption of inquests into the killings.
The inquests were originally adjourned shortly after the deaths of three men - George Bradshaw, Thomas Duffy and Thomas Douglas – and were never concluded.
Two car bombs exploded in Dublin on the evening of 1 December 1972 on the third night of the Dáil debate on the Offences Against the State (Amendment) Bill.
The second bomb exploded in Sackville Place killing CIE employees George Bradshaw and Thomas Duffy.
On the afternoon of 20 January 1973, another car bomb exploded in Sackville Place killing Thomas Douglas, a CIE bus conductor, who was a native of Scotland.

Police Release Statement On Easter Monday Events In Creggan
The PSNI have released a statement on the events which took place in Creggan on Easter Monday. Derry City & Strabane Area Commander Chief Superintendent Gillian Kearney said that "police received an 11/1 on Saturday 30th March in relation only to an event in the City Cemetery in Creggan" which would be taking place on 1 April.

Investigation Launched Into Petrol Bomb Attack In Ballymena
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a petrol bomb incident in the Queen Street area of Ballymena. Shortly before 10.15pm on Monday, March 4, it was reported that two petrol bombs were thrown through the living room window of a house in the area. Neither of the petrol bombs ignited.

People Urged To 'Celebrate Their Toilets'
People across Northern Ireland have been urged to "celebrate their toilets" on 'Thomas Crapper Day'(TCD), Saturday, 27 January. TCD is a celebration of the man who helped make the humble toilet a feature in every household and pioneered the ballcock within the toilet cistern that is still a feature today.

Lomic Director Disqualified
A top Co Londonderry businessman has agreed to step down from his kitchen manufacturing business. The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment has accepted a disqualification undertaking for eight years from Michael Thomas Logue of Urbalshinny Road, Maghera, in respect of his conduct as a director of Lomic Manufacturing Limited.
