Royal Mail Announces Delivery Offices' Sunday Opening

Royal Mail customers in L'Derry and Belfast will be able to collect parcels from delivery offices on Sunday, as part of a pilot scheme being introduced this week.

The Royal Mail is trialling Sunday opening at about 100 of its busiest delivery offices across the UK, including Belfast South & Central Delivery Office in Tomb Street and L'Derry Delivery Office in Great James Street. The offices will open between 12:00 and 16:00 from this Sunday.

Michael Kennedy, Royal Mail Director of Operations Northern Ireland, said: "We are continuing to be more customer responsive and provide more options for people to receive items they have ordered online.

"I am delighted to pilot Sunday afternoon opening at around 100 of our delivery offices across the UK with the highest parcel volumes, including Belfast South & Central and Londonderry."

Belfast Man Handed Two-Year Stalking Protection Order
The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.
