Two In Hospital After Belfast Road Crash
Two people have been taken to hospital following a road crash on the Belvoir Road in Belfast.
Police said three cars were involved in the collision, which occurred at 08:45 on Wednesday morning.
Ambulance crews attended the scene and two patients were given treatment before being taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Taxi Driver Threatened With Knife
A taxi driver has been left shaken after having a knife held to her neck in an attempted hijacking.
The incident happened in the Ballymagroarty area of L'Derry in the early hours of Wednesday. The driver was driving a young person from Rockmills to Carleton Court when he brought out a knife, held it to her neck and demanded the keys for the car.
The driver refused to hand them over and the youth got out and escaped on foot.
He was described as being around 17 years old, 5ft 5ins tall, slim with short dark hair and wearing a dark blue hooded top.
Police Helicopter Aids Car Pursuit
A police helicopter has been used to help officers pursue a car, resulting in the arrest of three men.
The chase began on Tuesday in the Ballycraigy Road area of Newtownabbey and ended in the Antrim Road area of Glengormley.
Police managed to stop the Volkswagen Golf and three men were detained. The car was seized.
Charges Over L'Derry Restaurant Robbery
A 23-year-old man has been charged with robbery and possessing an offensive weapon in connection with the robbery of a restaurant on Spencer Road, L'Derry, on Monday night.
A man with a knife tried to open the till during the robbery and left the scene with no money, but with other items including a staff member's handbag.
A 23-year-old man was arrested a short time later in Gortfoyle Place.

A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
