NI Executive To Make £200m Of Cuts
A total of £200m of cuts need to be made by the Northern Ireland Executive between October 2014 and April 2015, it has been reported.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, the cuts are equivalent to 4% of all departmental budgets.
However, it is thought the cuts to rise to as much as 6% at each department if health spending continues to be protected.
News of the budget cuts was revealed as ministers and civil servants continue to work on the October monitoring round, which is a regular budget reallocation exercise.
Ministers are expected to discuss the budget pressures on Thursday.
