Man's body found three days after road death

A man's body has been found by police three days after he died in a road traffic accident in Co Antrim.

Darren McGreevy, 26, is believed to have died after his car left the Moneynick Road, between the M2 and Toomebridge, in the early hours of Friday morning.

His family alerted police of his disappearance that evening, however it wasn't until Monday morning that a relative found the car in a densely wooded area off the Moneynick Road.

Police are blaming the car's final resting place, concealed by trees, as the reason for the man not being discovered earlier.

They have appealed for anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
