Appeal Over Missing Person, Stephen McCloskey

Police and family have appealed for information regarding 33-year-old Stephen McCloskey, who is missing.

Mr McCloskey was last seen in the Ard Grange area of L'Derry on Tuesday 28 October.

He is described as being approximately 6ft tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has names tattooed on his left arm and right wrist. When last seen, Stephen was believed to have been wearing a dark t-shirt, dark jeans and may have been driving a black Nissan Terrano,

Anyone with information is asked to contact Strand Road Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

PSNI Appeal Over L'Derry Shooting

The PSNI has appealed for information regarding a shooting in the Liscloon Drive area of L'Derry on 2 November.

Police received a report at approximately 20:25 that a 26-year-old man had been shot once in both legs. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with information is asked to contact CID at Strand Road Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

South Belfast Business Robbed

An armed robbery has been carried out on the afternoon of Friday 31 October in the Cromac Street area of south Belfast.

Just before 13:45, two men aged in their mid 20s entered premises at a car park and demanded money.

One of the men is believed to have been armed with a possible firearm. The robbers then made off with a sum of money and headed towards the city centre.

Two staff members were in the premises at the time but were not injured.

Serious Assault, North Belfast

A serious assault has occurred in north Belfast on the evening of 31 October.

At about 22:00, police received a report that a 25-year-old man had been assaulted in the Limestone Road area, close to Mileriver Street.

Police said it is thought he may have been attacked by three or four other males. He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are currently described as critical.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Teenager Arrested After Two Police Officers Injured In Belfast
A 16-year-old girl has been arrested after two police officers were injured as trouble flared in Belfast overnight. Petrol bombs and masonry were thrown at the officers in the Woodvale Road area at around 12.50am on Wednesday. No petrol bombs made contact, however two police officers were injured after bottles were thrown at them.

Man Shot In The Leg In East Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in east Belfast. A man, aged in his 30s, is being treated in hospital after he was shot in the lower leg on Chamberlain Street at about 11:40pm on Sunday 20 February. The man is being treated in hospital.

Appeal After Police Cyclist Struck In Belfast Hit And Run Incident
The PSNI are appealing for information after a police cyclist was struck in a hit and run incident in Belfast. The incident happened in the Wellington Place area at around 1.30pm on Saturday, 26 December. The police cyclists was hit by a car that drove on without stopping.

Witnesses Sought To Serious Collision On Old Dublin Road
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious road traffic accident in Co Down. A motorcyclist, aged in his 40s, was seriously injured when he was involved in a collision with a car at about 3pm on the Old Dublin Road, south of Newry, on Thursday, 13 July.
