Escaped Prisoner At Large In L'Derry

Police have released a warning that an escaped prisoner remains at large in L'Derry.

The 40-year-old man fled from police custody following a visit to Altnagelvin Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, which had been organised because he said he was feeling unwell.

The prisoner is one of three men police arrested in the city on suspicion of involvement in burglaries and other criminal acts in County Donegal.

The PSNI said the man is not considered to be a threat to the public.
