Police appeal following sexual assault

Police are continuing to appeal for information after a woman was sexually assaulted during a robbery at her home in Co Down.

The attack took place at around 5.30am on Friday when two intruders broke into the woman's home in Bangor.

The two men tied her husband up before taking her downstairs and subjecting her, to what police described, as a "serious sexual assault".

One of the men is believed to be in his 30's, about 5'7" in height with short wavy hair. The other man is said to be in his early 20's with a curtains' hairstyle.

The men subsequently escaped with a sum of money.
