Man Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A man has been convicted for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
Anthony Gallagher, 50, of Abercorn Square, claimed Housing Benefit totalling £5,925, while failing to declare he was related to his landlord.
Mr Gallagher was given a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £22, and to repay any outstanding money he wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
Missing Woman 'Found Safe And Well'
A woman who had not been spotted since Sunday evening has been found safe and well, police have said.
Kate Lauren White, 38, was last seen in Belfast on the evening of 8 November.
Police appealed for information regarding Ms White's disappearance, but they have now said she has been found safe and well.
They have thanked the public for their help in the case.
Name Of Cyclist Killed On A1 Released
A cyclist who died in a road traffic accident on Wednesday (12 November) has been named by police.
John Flynn, 51, was involved in a collision with a lorry on the A1 dual carriageway city-bound, between Dromore and Hillsborough, shortly before 7am on Wednesday. He was taken to hospital where his condition was described as "critical".
He later died from his injuries.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
Four Ulster Players Included In Ireland Squad
Four Ulster players have been drafted into the Ireland Rugby squad ahead of the team's game against Georgia this weekend.
Ireland are due to play Georgia at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Sunday (16 November), in their second game of this year's Autumn International series.
Coach Joe Schmidt has made 13 changes for the game, and Ulster backs Darren Cave and Craig Gilroy are two of the players to be included. They will both start the game, at centre and on the wing, respectively.
Robbie Diack has also been drafted in and will feature at number eight, while Stuart Olding has been named among the replacements.
