Dungannon Security Alert Ends
A security alert has ended in Dungannon, County Tyrone.
Residents were evacuated from their homes in the town on Thursday night. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene at Ann Street and a suspicious object was taken away for investigation.
All roads have now reopened.
Man In Hospital After North Belfast Road Crash
A man has been taken to hospital with injuries described as "serious" following a one-vehicle road crash in north Belfast.
The collision occurred on Thursday night on the Ballygomartin Road.
Two Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
Two women have been convicted of benefit fraud at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court.
40-year-old Majella Heaney of Glenabbey Drive, L'Derry claimed Income Support totalling £2,307 while failing to declare employment. She was given a one month prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to pay court costs of £31.
45-year-old Wendy McMonagle of Glenabbey Drive, Londonderry claimed Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £10,438 while failing to declare employment. She was given a three month prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to pay court costs of £43.
Three Injured In Stabbing Incident
Three men have been treated for stab wounds following an altercation near a public house in north Belfast on Thursday night.
Three men aged 21, 23, and 26 were injured in the incident, which occurred at about 21:30 in the Cliftonville Road area.
The 21-year-old and 26-year-old were later arrested and are in police custody, while the 23-year-old is in hospital.

Local roads get record £80m spend
A record £80 million will be spent on structural roads maintenance this year across Northern Ireland. The figure was revealed by Deputy Divisional Roads Manager, Tom McCourt as he presented DRD Roads Service’s autumn report to Newtownabbey Borough Council. Mr McCourt said: "This is a huge increase in investment over previous years.
