Bangor Care Home Announces Closure
A Bangor care home has announced to the families of its residents that it will close at the start of 2015.
The Stewart Memorial House, which cares for around 30 residents, said it does not have the money to continue operating. It is understood the home will begin to look for new accommodation for its residents.
The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust said it will "work closely" with the home, its residents and their families to "ensure appropriate alternative placements are identified."

Vaccine Booster Initiative For All NI Care Homes
A Covid-19 vaccine booster initiative is to be rolled-out to all NI's care homes, Health Minister Robin Swann has announced. Health Trust vaccinator teams are bringing the boosters to care home residents and staff in a planned programme. First doses will also be available for anyone who has not yet been vaccinated.
