SQS Group To Create New Jobs In Belfast And L'Derry

Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has announced software services company SQS Group Ltd is to create a further 30 jobs in Belfast and L'Derry.

The jobs will be located between SQS' Development Operations Centres within the Northern Ireland Science Parks in Belfast and Londonderry and brings the total employed at the centres to 82 by 2017.

Announcing the investment Arlene Foster said:"This is the second reinvestment by SQS since it established its Belfast centre in 2008, reflecting the firm’s confidence in the software talent in Northern Ireland.

"SQS centres offer a range of high value services such as Agile Development, DevOps, Test Automation, Security, Performance Engineering and Quality Assurance services and have a proven track record across local and international markets.

"These new jobs will pay twice the Northern Ireland private sector average salary in the region of £37,500 and contributing more than £1million a year to the local economy. I am pleased Invest Northern Ireland has been able to support this investment through a grant of £210,000 for the new jobs."
