ATM Rammed With Digger

An ATM in Aughnacloy, County Tyrone has been rammed with a digger, police have said.

The digger was used to ram the premises on Moore Street at about 05:00 on Wednesday morning.

Police said inquiries are at an early stage and the premises will be fully examined throughout the day, to establish the extent of the damage and if anything has been taken.

Detectives are currently investigating a possible link to a trailer located on the Ravella Road. The road is currently closed.

Anyone who was in the area this morning and who noticed any suspicious people or vehicles is asked to contact CID in Dungannon via the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111.

Police have recovered two cash machines that were stolen in an overnight raid. Thieves targeted a Tesco supermarket on the Larne Link Road in Ballymena at around 3am this morning, Friday 26 April. Officers spotted the machines being driven away from the scene on the back of a pick-up truck.

Post Office Rammed By Digger
The wall of a post office in Moneyreagh, outside Belfast, has been rammed by a digger in an apparent attempt to gain access to a safe. The incident occurred at Hillmount Drive, at about 02:00 in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Severe damage has been caused to a wall and the roof of the property.

Protesters are occupying a former and vacant Bank of Ireland building in Belfast’s city centre as part of the 'occupy' movement. Police are currently at the scene, after a number of people were reported to be inside the disused premises on Royal Avenue.

Man Critical Following Coleraine Crash
A man in his 80s is in critical condition following a crash between a car and a digger in County L'Derry. The collision happened on the Quilly Road between Articlave and Coleraine at around 10pm on Monday, 16 September. A Citroen C3 car and a Manitou digger were involved. The road was closed for some time but has since reopened.
